Who we are

Welcome to St. Barnabas

We believe in reaching out with love, connecting with our neighbors, and growing together through the light of Christ. St. Barnabas is a joyful community where people are invited into a living relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Here, you will find a place to connect, grow, and serve.

  • For your mind and heart: Our engaging sermons connect the timeless message of the Gospel with the real-life questions we face every day.
  • For your spirit: Our worship is both prayerful and joyful, and our music program featuring St. Barnabas choir, visiting artists, organ, piano, and other instruments—inspires and uplifts. Our choral scholar program offers great opportunities to experience the joy of singing and worship.
  • For your community: Beyond Sunday services, our vibrant music program offers concert series with diverse musical performances bringing a message of healing and love to our community.
  • For your neighbors: We are committed to serving our neighbors, connecting with the needs and concerns of the wider community through our outreach programs like the Emmanuel Dining Room, Meals on Wheels, and Table of Plenty.
  • For your family:  Community engagement opportunities like Daycare Donuts on Fridays, Parish Picnics, Trunk or Treat, and our annual Christmas Bazaar.

Ready to find your place? Join us this Sunday, or explore our ministries to learn more. We look forward to meeting you!

We are located at 2800 Duncan Road in Wilmington, near the intersection of Rt 34 or Faulkland Road and Duncan Road. Watch for our sign and drive up the winding driveway.

Our location in northern Delaware is just off Kirkwood Highway near Prices Corner. This puts us within ten minutes of Hockessin, Pike Creek, Millcreek, Newark, and Stanton. Some folks travel the twenty minutes from Landenberg or Avondale in Pennsylvania and from as far as Elkton, Maryland.
